Directions to the Medical Center Nursery School

The Medical Center Nursery School is located at 60 Haven Avenue, just north of West 169th Street and the main campus area of the Columbia University Medical Center, in the Washington Heights section of northern Manhattan.

By Public Transportation

Subway - The 1, A, or C trains serve the Medical Center from the 168th Street and Broadway station. Walk west on either West 169th or West 168th Street, cross Fort Washington Avenue, and continue to Haven Avenue and turn north (right).

Bus - Several buses serve the medical center: Bx 7, and the M 2, 3, 5, or 100, which stop on Broadway (close to West 168th Street). Follow the walking instruction above. The M 4 bus stops on Fort Washington Avenue at either West 170th Street (downtown) or West 168th Street (uptown).

By Automobile

From Northern Manhattan, Riverdale, and Westchester via the Henry Hudson Parkway, exit at the George Washington Bridge. Proceed south to West 165th Street and turn left. Proceed to Fort Washington Avenue and turn left; continue to West 171st Street, turn left and proceed to Haven Avenue. Turn left and proceed to 60, on the west side of the street just south of West 170th Street. The area in front of the building entrance is zoned for Ambulettes; and street parking elsewhere is difficult. The Medical Center parking garage is at Fort Washington Avenue just south of West 165th Street. A second garage is located on Haven Avenue south of West 175th Street.

From the West Side of Manhattan via the Henry Hudson Parkway, use Exit 15-Riverside Drive South. Proceed south to West 165th Street and turn left and follow the directions above.
